Honors Recruitment Officer and Tour Guide at Towson University

Class of 2020

Hometown: Oceanside, NY

Major: Speech Language Pathology

Minor: Deaf Studies

Why did you choose Towson University?

Towson has really good Speech Pathology and Deaf Studies departments, so I can get a great education in areas I'm passionate about without traveling too far from home.

What is your favorite aspect of the Honors community?

Living in the learning community in Douglass House for two years as part of the Honors College has to be my favorite aspect- I met so many friends there and made great memories.

What is an academic experience - like a book, project, or research paper - that has had an impact on your life?

Studying Abroad in Ireland has by far had the biggest impact on me of any academic experience. I learned so much about the country, their literature, and myself!

What do you love most about Towson University?

Towson always has great events going on and new people to meet. There are so many fun clubs, and events like Tigerfest, Homecoming, and the Big Event meaning I can enjoy my time outside of class on campus.
