What advice would you give a prospective Honors student?

The piece of advice I would give to prospective students is to not be afraid to ask questions or reach out for further information! The more you know, the easier it is to make your decision to join the Honors College!

What is your favorite aspect of the Honors community?

My favorite aspect about the Honors College is the wide range of classes that are provided. In addition, I like that our community is so involved and encouraging to one another.

Why did you choose the Honors College?

I chose the Honors College because of the great opportunities if offers its students. Some of the opportunities include smaller class sizes, discussion based classes, and experiential credits. All of these experiences lead to the advancement of ones character and personal development.

What is an academic experience - like a book, project, or research paper - that has had an impact on your life?

An academic experience that has impacted my life was my Honors internship with a Speech-Language Pathologist this past summer. From the first day working with students, it solidified my chosen career path. In addition, I obtained hands-on experience in my chosen career and conducted a research paper.
