Tour Guide at Towson University
Class of 2019
Hometown: Waldorf, MD
Major: Criminal Justice
My favorite place on campus on campus is the Union. It's literally the headquarters of any and everything. In between classes you can go there to grab a bite with some friends, hang out and talk, or if you're involved it's the place where you handle important SGA, BSU, Greek Life, or Diversity business. There's so much you can do in the union it's amazing!
I choose Towson because it was close to home but yet far away at the same time. Also I loved the environment of Towson. The first time I came to Towson for a tour I feel in love. The scenery and the amount of things you can do blew me away!
I love how many things you are able to do at Towson. There are about 200+ campus organizations that you can get involved in and also so many things to do around campus. You able to wake up one day and decide "Hey I want to go to the Baltimore Harbor with some friends" and with one step onto one of our shuttles, you're there. Towson offers so many opportunities that allow you to get the best of your experience outside of the classroom.
Get involved! Staying in your room and not getting to know anyone on campus will not give you the best experience. Go out there and find things that you are interest in and make new friends!
