My current favorite spot on campus is our new gym facility, Burdick Hall. The new section looks great and we have lots of new technology that makes workouts even better. I love using the rock climbing wall and sprint hill the most. Plus, who doesn't enjoy watching Netflix while running the treadmill!
Don't be afraid to ask questions on a tour or even at the beginning of your freshman year. There will always be someone on campus ready to help you whether it's a student, like myself, or a staff member.
I chose Towson University for so many reasons! First off, I am from P.G. County Maryland which is only about an hour away, so it is close enough to home, but still far enough to feel like I'm really in college. Second, I visited the school so many times before coming in my freshman year and it felt like home, very comfortable and right. Towson also has my major and is very diverse, which I love. Lastly, I wanted to go to a school that had a really good dance program, so I could dance in college as well.
I love that it is a large school with a small feel. It really shows how inclusive the community is and how much you can get involved in just about anything that interests you.
