Tour Guide at Towson University
Class of 2022
Hometown: Hellertown, PA
Major: Elementary and Special Education
My advice to prospective students is to follow what feels right! If you love the campus, a specific major, or anything else about a school, just do your research and talk to current students to get a true feel for the school. Everything happens for a reason.
I love that Towson is a big school that provides me with many different opportunities, and yet, no matter how big campus may feel I always see a familiar face while walking around campus. Everyone is genuine in their relationships and wants to see everyone succeed.
I initially had no clue that Towson existed but when my Mom suggested we visit I had nothing to lose from a tour. I fell in love with the campus itself, from the size of it to the little hidden aspects you see walking around. I also love how my major is integrated into one program that allows me to complete it within 4 years instead of other schools where it is 5 or 6 years to get the same certifications.
My favorite place on campus is either Au Bon Pain or Freedom Square. Au Bon Pain has some of the best food when you want to switch things up and Freedom Square is a great spot to get things done between class breaks or hang out with friends throughout the day.
