Favorite Spot on Campus

My favorite place on campus is the Liberal Arts Building (or CLA). At times, it can be one of the most populated academic buildings on campus, or one of the most peaceful and quiet. I love the balance of sitting and watching the busyness and commotion as people pass by, or doing homework and enjoying the silence of nothing other than the occasional footsteps coming down the hallways.

Why did you choose Towson University?

I had originally been set on going to a different school before I was accepted to Towson. However, once I visited Towson's website for the first time, and saw how lively and eccentric the campus and students looked, I instantly changed my mind. Towson has definitely lived up to that reputation, and I have never regretted my decision.

What do you love most about Towson University?

I love the amount of pride that people have in our school. Even when there's construction on campus, or rainy days that dampen the mood, I constantly see people who truly look happy to be here; whether through wearing Towson apparel, campus involvement, or just general demeanor. The community dynamic and friendliness of the students and staff is a huge reason I chose this school.

What advice would you give a prospective student?

The best part of college is having a place that feels like another home. Sometimes it may take a while to find your group of friends, or fall into a routine that works, but once you adjust and settle in, you see more and more that your experience can be anything and everything you want it to be. As long as you give yourself time and don't rush the process, the possibilities really are endless!
