There is no rush in college, and it's all self-paced. It's easy to get caught up in the stigma of finishing "on time." but it's okay to do things at your own comfortable pace. There is also the stigma of choosing the right school on the first try, but it's okay to start over. Find your fit, take things slow, go easy on yourself, but remember to take care of yourself and make the best of what you have!
Before I started working for Campus Rec at TU, I knew little to no one. Getting an on-campus job was the first step in becoming more familiar with the campus and its students/staff. I don't regret any part of it!
I believed Towson was the best option for me for multiple reasons. One is that it's a little bit closer to home, and I am more familiar with the area. I was also accepted to the FTP program, which helps me become more college prepared while still taking college-level courses. Finally, it was in my budget range.
I love how there's something for everybody on this campus. Whether you're looking to join a specific club, organization, job, support group, or class, there is something for everyone.
