Why did you choose the Honors College?

I chose the Honors College because I this community would allow me to meet people with similar interests and work ethics. I was also looking forward to all the opportunities it would provide.

What advice would you give a prospective Honors student?

My advice to prospective students would be to get involved in as much as you can. Go to the club meetings and events at least once because you never know what you might enjoy. Have fun, don't be scared to make friends, and enjoy college!

What is your favorite aspect of the Honors community?

My favorite aspect of the Honors community was the Honors College Leadership Council (HCLC). This club met every other week in the dorm building. I had lots of fun planning and running events for the Honors College such as bingo, jeopardy, crafts to destress, and more!

What is an academic experience - like a book, project, or research paper - that has had an impact on your life?

The lessons I have taught in Baltimore county have impacted me and my future career. I gained experience writing lesson plans and learned teaching strategies, which will help me be the best teacher I can be.
