My favorite place on campus would have to be Freedom Square! Not only is it a great place to spread out and do some work on a nice day, but I also enjoy reading others opinions and messages on the chalkboard every week.
The location and surrounding area was the main reason I chose Towson. Even though I am from out of state, Towson isn't too far from where I am from. Towson itself is a fun town that has something going on all the time. Baltimore and Inner Harbor is a great place to explore during the weekends with all the festivals and places to see. D.C. is a short, cheap train ride away. What made me stay was the amazing friends I made that are from all over the place.
Life is what you make it, especially your college experience. Go out there and join clubs you never thought you would join in high school. Talk to your professors and peers in class, you can meet amazing people this way and make connections.
I can't really pinpoint one single thing that I love most about Towson University. I love the diversity of Towson whether it be the students, different clubs, and even professors, I am being exposed to ideas and viewpoints that I did not have in high school. I also love the fact that all of my professors I have had so far are extremely experienced and have been in the field for multiple years and really know what they're talking about and what us students can expect in the real world after graduation.
