Honors Recruitment Officer at Towson University
Class of 2022
Hometown: Rockville, MD
Major: Athletic Training
My freshman year honors towson seminar class is one that has really shaped me. All the honors seminars focus around water and mine was in an anthropology field. All my piers in the class came frm different majors and it was very interestign to see how we each tackled a discussion. My research paper in that class was a fun experience because I got to do something interesting to me while being challenged by my peer.s
I love the relationships that you get to build in your classes becuase you get to meet people with a similar drive as you. I also loved my experience living in the Douglass House, the Honors College dorm. I was able to attend many events that I loved, meet great friends, and have an amazing transition into college there.
Take advantage of all the opportunities you are given. Go to every event because you just might meet some of your best friends there.
The Honors College gave me the chance to make a large school seem small. I always loved the idea of attending a large university, but when I was looking into school I loved the community aspect of the smaller schools. The Honors College at Towson gave me the chance to have both a large school atmosphere as well as a smaller community where I can thrive.
