Favorite Spot on Campus

My favorite place on campus is the Towsontown garage. I know garages are not typically the first place that comes to mind when thinking about the best places on Towson's campus, but some of my best memories have been made in that particular garage! My sorority participates in a dance competition on campus and our practices were always held in the Towsontown garage, we would stay out there until really late at night and practicing our routines. During my senior year of high school when I toured Towson University, I never even took a second look at the garage because I never thought it would become a significant place to me, but now whenever I see that garage I can't help but think of all of the memories I have laughing, goofing off, singing and dancing with my sorority sisters!

What is a fun fact about yourself?

I was pickpocketed in France, but I got my stuff back!

What is your favorite TU tradition or event on campus?

One of my favorite events on campus is Dance the Madness (DTM)! Fraternities and sororities pair up, pick a theme, choreograph a dance and perform for a huge audience in SECU arena! I participated in DTM this past year with my sorority and a fraterntiy and we came in first place! It was such a fun way to meet new people, get involved and make memories!

What advice would you give to an incoming new student?

Fully embrace the college experience, meet new people, get involved, go to class, go to events on campus and step out of your comfort zone!
