The most important advice I would give a prospective student is to be open. Allowing yourself to be open to new experiences, people and places can bring you some of the greatest opportunities and memories. Most importantly, stay true to who you are and always be yourself.
My favorite place on campus is freedom square. On warm days, I can always find myself enjoying the atmosphere of freedom square to sit down and relax, or even to get school work done. Freedom square is a comfortable outdoor environment for anyone who wants to enjoy themselves right at the heart of campus.
Something I love the most about Towson is that it is true to the idea of being a big school with a small school feel. I love Towson for its large amounts of school pride on game days and for the opportunity to meet so many different people, but I never feel overwhelmed by the campus population. Although there is a lot of students and faculty at Towson, I am grateful for the one to one relationships I have formed with my peers and professors.
I chose Towson University because this school had everything to offer and more. When I left my visit to Towson I could not stop thinking about it and that was when I knew Towson was the place for me. I felt comfortable at Towson and I felt confident that Towson could help me reach my goals and allow me to become the individual I hope my own students can one day look up to.
