I love the Deaf Studies program because it immerses you completely into Deaf culture. Before coming to Towson, sign language seemed cool, but I never really thought about learning it. Now I have taken 6 Deaf Studies classes and, plan to use ASL for the rest of my life!
I went to a Fall Open House and when I got there, the campus felt like home. During one of the student sessions, I won a TU lanyard and I use it to this day because it reminds me of how far I've come since becoming a Towson Tiger. I love it so much here that Towson is my top choice for grad schools.
Don't worry if you come to college with an undecided major. I came to TU not knowing what I wanted to do yet, but I used the Career Center and tried out many different classes until I fell in love with speech-language pathology.
The Van Bokkelen speech path lounge. It's a small room where a lot of people from my cohort hang out between classes. I eat lunch, study, work on group projects, and most importantly relax in the lounge all the time.
