Why did you choose Towson University?

It was an in-state school with a high-rated education program. And I won't pretend that distance from home didn't play a factor in my decision-making.

What advice would you give a prospective student?

Invest in a rolling laundry bin. Laundry costs money, and carrying all of your dirty clothes to the laundry room gets exhausting when you're washing as many clothes as possible.

Spend time in the public education sphere as a high school English teacher, get my Masters degree, then pursue a doctorate degree, though I haven't decided if it will be in Secondary Education or English yet. I think it may be in both, eventually.

How to use the bus system. It's honestly still a little bit of a mystery most of the time.
