Spend time in the public education sphere as a high school English teacher, get my Masters degree, then pursue a doctorate degree, though I haven't decided if it will be in Secondary Education or English yet. I think it may be in both, eventually.

What advice would you give a prospective Honors student?

Map out your classes freshman year. Know what classes are offered at the Honors level that your major requires.

Graduate. All joking aside, I think I would like to return as a professor in the next decade or so.
