Always be open to try new things! Get involved as much as possible. It is okay if you don't find what you like right away, that is normal. Never get discouraged because Towson has so much to offer, you just have to get out there and try. Remember to stay focused on your studies, but leave some time for fun.
I love the atmosphere and student life. I think the campus is beautiful and gives me a feeling of belonging. I also feel very safe when I am on campus. The students are amazing and you can see TU pride beaming on everyone's face. Whether it be playing games in the dorms, studying in Cook Library, or grabbing a bite at the dinning hall, you always feel proud to be a Towson Tiger.
My favorite place on campus would have to be the suspended walk way between Hawkins Hall and the Psychology building. It's a perfect spot to sit for lunch when you want to be alone to clear your mind. It also gives the best view of campus.
I chose TU because my older sister once gave me a tour around campus and I loved it. I also love the student professor ratio. I feel that students are not just a number to the professors. Students are able to get personal interactions with their professors that you can't really find at most other schools. I am also in the Honors College which had a big influence on my decision.
