I've had an amazing opportunity to work with my professor on research involving Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome and mother-baby bonding. It allowed learning the importance of Evidence-Based Practice in nursing while pursuing a topic that was apart of my interest. It allowed me to realize my interest in possibly becoming a nurse researcher in the future.
My favorite place on campus is freedom square. Freedom Square is a quiet place that allows me to do work in the middle of campus. As well as a place to relax and hang out with friends
I chose Towson because it has such an amazing nursing program. Towson allows me to learn and grow in my nursing career through opportunities to work at many different hospitals in the Baltimore/Towson area.
Don't be afraid to ask questions! Whether it's talking to the Admissions Office or a Student Ambassador, their job is to help you answer any questions that could impact your decision on choosing a school. They want to help you find out if Towson is right for you! As well as being open. Do not have a setlist of everything you want in a university/college. Be open because you never know if what's on your list is actually right for you.
