What advice would you give a prospective Honors student?

Determine what you want from your college experience. The honors college provides you with many opportunities, but you can only get what you want from what you put into it. There are many opportunities to work with professors, be apart of events, and meet many new people. However, you need to determine what you want from the honor college to determine what the honors college can do to enhance your college experience.

Where is your favorite place on campus?

My favorite place on campus is freedom square. Freedom Square is a quiet place that allows me to do work in the middle of campus. As well as a place to relax and hang out with friends

What is an academic experience - like a book, project, or research paper - that has had an impact on your life?

I've had an amazing opportunity to work with my professor on research involving Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome and mother-baby bonding. It allowed learning the importance of Evidence-Based Practice in nursing while pursuing a topic that was apart of my interest. It allowed me to realize my interest in possibly becoming a nurse researcher in the future.

What do you love most about Towson University?

Towson is such a diverse campus. There are many small communities on our large campus. There is something for everyone here at Towson. With so many people who have different backgrounds, it allows everyone at Towson to be open and accepting other's differences. There is something for everyone here at Towson
