Why did you choose Towson University?

I am from long island so it was the perfect distance from home. Not too far but not too close. It also had a very good transportation system, whether it be train, bus, or airplane, I was able to get home fast if I needed to. Towson also has a fantastic business school with small classroom size so I am able to have that one on one connection with my professor, which I really loved.

Favorite Spot on Campus

My favorite place on campus is Freedom Square. This is because when it is nice out, everyone gathers on the grass areas near the chalkboards and just hangouts in between classes and does homework. It is a place where the entire campus comes together. It also has those chalkboards so people can be able to express themselves through what they write on those boards. Those boards also sometimes include information about upcoming events which is very helpful.

What advice would you give a prospective student?

Don't be afraid to put yourself out there and be as active as possible with campus clubs and organizations. I remember being scared to join anything my freshman year because I didn't want the upperclassmen to judge me. Still, until this day, I regret not joining anything my freshman year and wish I could go back and do it all over again.

What do you love most about Towson University?

I love the friendly atmosphere and the constant renovations being done around campus. No matter who you talk to, everyone is so friendly and willing to talk to you. The school is constantly making changes around our campus and it just shows that our school is taking our money and putting it towards something useful that will benefit the entire Towson community.
