What is your favorite TU tradition or event on campus?

I transferred to TU in the spring of 2020. However, I was still able to get involved and attend meetings like the Caribbean Student Association, Brotherhood, and Sisterhood, and so many more. It gave me a sense of belonging on campus, and it's also a great way to get involved and meet new people.

What is a fun fact about yourself?

A fun fact about myself is that I write poetry! I am also working hard to get published within the next two years or so.

What advice would you give to an incoming new student?

Don't be afraid to put yourself out there for making friends! Don't worry so much about how you should look around people, because clicking with people that like you for you is so important. Whether its laughging at the same joke you hear, sitting at the same table, having class together, or simpy introducing yourself, don't be afraid to be social and talk to people.
