What advice would you give a prospective Honors student?

Do not give up, while the Honors College is a challenge it is one that will help you shape into a stronger, more confident, and more intelligent person.

What is an academic experience - like a book, project, or research paper - that has had an impact on your life?

The project that most had an impact on my life was my plant monograph. The plant monograph is an eight-page paper written about a plant of your choice. After I submitted my rough draft I got a lot of feedback, and a lot of it was not too positive. This showed me that just doing the papers is not enough, I must put my all into all my classes so I receive the best education out of them.

Why did you choose the Honors College?

I chose the Honors College because I wanted to take every opportunity to get the best education I can receive.

What is your favorite aspect of the Honors community?

My favorite aspect of the Honors community is the family students create with each other in class.
