I chose Towson University because I wanted to attend a school that was of reasonable size. After visiting other university sites, I either felt it was too big or too small. The class sizes and population of Towson University allow me to have more personal interactions with my professors and classmates. The size is also perfect to be meeting new people every day as well!
My advice would be to jump! Jump when you're ready! Jump into new friendships, new organizations, new experiences. It's okay to be intimidated and terrified of the "what if's" because everyone is. But when you think you are okay with stepping a little out of your comfort zone, just jump and watch yourself grow.
My favorite place on campus is the Center of Liberal Arts Building. The area is so aesthetically pleasing and offers numerous study rooms where students can focus on doing their work. There is also a cafe that serves delicious coffee!
I love the diversity of the student population and its inclusive environment. The university is rich with culture because there are so many groups that are being highlighted, appreciated, and celebrated. You learn so much through the people you interact with on a daily basis.
